CONnecting NEw Cultural Tourism WAys Open to Networking Digital Experience in Representing Sites

C.ON.NE.C.T. W.O.N.D.E.R.S. is a project aimed at building a new and interdisciplinary research community that will work together on the topic of enhancing the cultural heritage of European mountains through a novel research framework that relies on the networked representation of writers, works and places. The project is highly interdisciplinary, since it provides the adoption of a web application (the World Literature Knowledge Graph, https://literature.di.unito.it) for the integration of four thematic focuses on literary views of European mountains.

C.ON.NE.C.T. W.O.N.D.E.R.S. is structured in three activities: i. the organization a meeting in Brasov, during which the interdisciplinary research framework adopted by the consortium is prototyped; ii. the design and implementation of an inter-academic training activity aimed at students from the University of Turin who will benefit from lessons delivered from other partners and who will actively contribute to the development of the web application and thematic focuses; iii. the organization of a seminar in Turin with the objective of identifying a strategy for the participation in other European calls and for the publication of interdisciplinary works on conferences and journals.

At the end of the project, the consortium will provide:

• a novel research framework suited for the study and valorization of mountain cultural heritage through the lens of literary facts;
• the draft of a project proposal that will be used as a starting point for the participation to future European calls;
• a publication strategy for interdisciplinary research with a number of potential conferences in the field of literary studies, computer science, and marketing.
